Mikhail Gorbachev and the Collapse of Communism

He wanted to encourage the citizens to give him new ways of improving their society. Because of this, many new changes were made. He took innocent people out of jail, released books that were banned and opened churches so that the people could follow their religion.he did many great things and by that people started liking him and they way his ideas were.
he mad a policy that was called Galsnost.
"Glasnost" meant that openness like that allowed the people to say what ever they want that were in the soviet union. This mad a lot of change to society. Some goodand even some of it bad. The chain of complaints caused him to make a new policy that was called the Peristrokia which was the idea of economic reconstructing.

The Collapse of Communism

USSR broke apart because many of the people rebelled against them to a point where the government couldn't control the people anymore. The people even teared down the Berlin wall because it was built to prevent people in the east side of Germany to escape communism so like the people didn't want communism they teared it down. In the 1991 the soviet leaders were no longer more and they were kicked out by their own countries.Even Party officials were killed for personal gain, weakening the party. It changed the world because they are barley any communism countries expect for Cuba etc. Also because it was a huge relief to some people.

Nelson Mandela and Apartheid

Apartheid was an unfair form of government that made black people oppressed in South Africa. They would have to carry identity documents for almost everything they did. They would go to prison if they drank from the wrong water fountain. They would get the death penalty for being with a white girl. They were denied basic human rights. Nelson Mandela along with many others opposed Apartheid in the early 50s and late 60s. He became a famous person very fast because of his work with ANC. However, the South African government threw him in jail for life for sabotage of the government. Twenty-seven long years later, the government came to the conclusion that if Nelson Mandela died in jail, there would no doubt be a revolution where the blood of millions would be spilled. This is why they decided to release Nelson Mandela. Not long after, he finally made Apartheid go away. Later, he became president and served for five years and gained a Nobel Peace Prize. He no doubt prevented a civil war and showed the world the true meaning of peace.

The Treaty of Versailles (ended WW I)

As many as you all may know Germany was preety much blamed for most of the destructions in Eruope so what " The Treaty Of Versailles " was preety much saying that Germany will pay for all of the damages done to Europe which is kinda unessesary because first of all Germany was forced to be put into war and now there saying that Germany is responsable for it . so now like 20 % of their oil products was destroyed like about  15 % of their population has courpeted because of the loss of land that has been taken over by other known counrtys that were participating in WW1 . Preety much every counrty had an aim to their goal ; France aim was  interest was security. France had lost some 1.5 million military personnel and an estimated 400,000 civilians  and had suffered great devastation during the war; Britan's aim was that they  had suffered little land devastation during the war and loss many men during the war ; United States strong non-interventionist sentiment before and after the United States entered the war in April 1917, and many Americans were eager to extricate themselves from European affairs as rapidly as possible. and besides during that time they had ecounterd The Great Depression .

Mustafa kamal and the moderination of turkey

Well it pretty much started by the year 1926–1930. Mustafa Kemal made a  radical sepreration from previous reformation such as the tax payer and as for legal reforms for like examples of being more as a individual to seperateing thems selves established by the Ottoman Empire. for an example these are the following words that Mustafa Kamal said " We must liberate our concepts of justice, our laws and our legal institutions from the bonds which, even though they are incompatible with the needs of our century, still hold a tight grip on us." basicly what he wanted was that he wanted to mopdernize sicioty such as he pretty much  admirable values of global civilization from other counrtys like from Eruope ; Spain Great Britan , Gernany , France , Italy , ect all these countrys were sopposedly the moderinized counrtys . Like and example Russia was once a part of modernized sioctey before communism had already started on the year 1917 .
